Florida Real Estate Lease Agreements: A Collection of Forms for Lawyers

Florida real estate lease agreements need to comply with Florida law, which differs from the laws of other states. Everyone wants to live and work in Florida these days, but not everyone wants to own real estate. So leasing real estate in Florida for home or office work has become an economic reality, especially post-COVID. St Petersburg Pinellas County Florida probate attorney James W. Martin has written this 240 page legal forms book “Florida Real Estate Lease Agreements: A Collection of Forms for Lawyers” to aid in the drafting of lease agreements for Florida real estate.

Available as Ebook or Paperback From:

James W. Martin is a Florida probate attorney who has practiced Florida real estate, probate, and business law, has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law, and has previously written two volumes of books on Florida real estate transactions.

This book assists attorneys in drafting lease agreements for Florida real estate by the use of example forms, including lease agreements for residential leases as well as commercial, office, and other nonresidential leases, along with miscellaneous lease clauses.

This is a legal forms book and is not a treatise on substantive real estate law. The attorney should consult Florida Statutes and case law in every case before using any form. No form should be used and no procedure should be followed unless the attorney understands it and decides that it applies to his or her law practice and to the facts in the particular case. Each attorney’s practice differs in some respects, and all transactions differ, so the attorney should plan to make changes to these forms accordingly.

St. Petersburg real estate attorney James W. Martin has also written the legal forms book Florida Real Estate Sales Contracts: A Collection of Forms for Lawyers as well as legal forms books regarding formation of a Florida LLC, business corporation, and nonprofit corporation.

This book was created for general background and educational purposes, is not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

This book is copyright 1990 – 2022 by James W. Martin. All rights in this book are reserved to James W. Martin. Unauthorized reproduction of this book and its forms and content is prohibited.
