Florida Nonprofit Corporations
St. Petersburg nonprofit corporation attorney James W. Martin has been forming and representing Florida nonprofit corporations for many decades. His clients have included such diverse nonprofits as an art museum (Dali), a museum designer, community organizations, clubs, teams, churches, and religious denominations.
Nonprofit corporations are formed by filing articles of incorporation with the Florida Division of Corporations. The state allows this to be done online, but the forms provided by the state do not include all of the forms that a nonprofit corporation should have. For example, the state does not provide the bylaws, minutes, and other documents for a nonprofit corporation. So, forming a nonprofit corporation in Florida is best left to attorneys rather than doing it yourself.
Nonprofit Corporation Legal Forms Books

Attorneys provide legal advice regarding nonprofit corporations, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts. James W. Martin has taught contract drafting for over fifteen years at Stetson University College of Law as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and he has written several volumes of contract forms books for lawyers, in addition to his books regarding nonprofit corporations.
