ABOUT LEGAL FORMS BY FLORIDA LAWYER JIM MARTIN

Jim Martin's first book of legal forms "LOM's Corporations System Manual" was written to assist Florida lawyers in drafting legal documents to form and maintain Florida corporations. It included over 70 corporate document forms, which were automated with merge codes.  The book was sold to West Publishing, America's premier law book company and owner of the Westlaw online legal research service. West published Martin's corporate forms as "Florida Corporations System", the first volume in West's Automated Practice Series. 

The next legal forms book Martin wrote for West was "Nonprofit Corporations and Associations" in volume 29 of West's Legal Forms, the set of forms books that West sells throughout the nation. The forms were similar to his Florida corporations forms, but were directed to nonprofit corporations rather than business corporations and addressed all 50 states rather than just Florida.

Later West's "Florida Legal Forms" was published in 9 volumes, 6 of which were authored or co-authored by Jim Martin:  Real Estate Transactions (purchase, sale, deeds, easements, condos, mortgages, leases, construction, and management); Business Organizations (corporations, partnerships and LLCs co-authored with Tampa lawyer Greg Yadley); and Specialized Forms (contracts, entertainment, agency, dispute resolution, employment, releases, advertising, gifts, intellectual property, etc.).
